Au Pair

Dreaming of a year-long adventure, discovering a new country and its culture? Finding accommodation for such a period is not always easy. But here is the good news, a host family can welcome you into their home. You will have the freedom to explore the country, learn a new language, and fully immerse yourself in the local culture. And that is not all, you will be provided lodging, meals, and laundry, for a worry-free experience.

What is an Au Pair?

An Au Pair is a young person who stays temporarily with a host family abroad to share in their daily life. In exchange for accommodation, meals , and pocket money. The Au Pair primarily helps care for the children and takes on light household tasks for a maximum of 20 hours per week.

The goal is not just to work, but also to discover a new culture, learn or improve a language, and have a rewarding experience abroad. The Au Pair programme is strictly regulated by law to protect both the host family and the applicant.

Conditions

Be at least 18 years old and under 30

Hold at least a secondary school diploma

Have a minimum B1 level in one of the following languages : English, French, German, Italian, or Ducth

Be in good health

Provide a clean criminal record

Be unmarried and have no children
